Every year, WPI hosts the Innovation in Certification (IiC) conference, which serves as a gathering point for experts from the field of operator certification. IiC brings together regulators, certifying authorities, operators, trainers, and technology providers associated with the industry meet to delve into the latest developments within the water domain.
Things kick off with the Trainer’s Workshop, where WPI orchestrates an enlightening Train the Trainer that showcases esteemed trainers from the sector. Discussions extensively explore strategies for increasing learner engagement, augmenting information retention and optimizing overall training methodologies to yield superior training results.
The subsequent segments of the conference are dedicated to accomplishing pivotal certification and surmounting unforeseen obstacles. Distinguished keynote speakers and special presenters enrich the technical program, which frequently extends beyond the fundamental aspects of certification. Recent IiC conferences have included discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), mental well-being, cybersecurity, and retirement.
